I like the qualification system used in the UEFA Champions League and Europa League, and I would like to do sort of the same thing in the AFC Champions League and AFC Cup.
I've set up continental rules for the AFC Champions League, but I have a few questions:
1. How can I set up dynamic qualification? eg. Team A wins League Z and gets an automatic qualifying spot, next season, Team B wins League Z (will Team B get an automatic qualifying spot or will team A?)
2. Can I use knockout stages as qualifying rounds?
3. How do I set up different qualification spots for different leagues in different nations?
4. Is it possible to just copy continental rules from the UEFA Champions League into the AFC Champions League and just make changes?
Sorry for all my questions, but any help would be appreciated because I would really like to set this up. However, if someone has already done something like this, please tell me.
