U23 confusion

Say it all but I'll attempt to explain.
I select the u23s then select squad to list the players but I'm seeing every single player if got. If I turn u18s filter off I no longer see them but if I turn the Senior squad off in the filter it doe NOT filter out the senior players.

Basically how can I view just the U23 squad, if it not possible that is 'expletive' stupid.

I suspect you may have First Teamers squad status set to "Available for U23s' in their individual settings.

When you view the squad lists, it shows all the players that are available to play for that team, regardless of their ACTUAL squad status.

It can be a pain in the #%# I know. I go through everyone regularly and make sure they are set the way I want them to be as I lose track over the course of a season. Making someone 'Available for 45mins until fit' after an injury - if I forget to remove it, then he plays a half-game for the U23s when I don't want him to.

Although it can work to my advantage, when developing youth. I have a couple of promising youth players who are selected in the first team squad, but have 'Avaliable for u23s' which, as I understand it, means they train with the First Team but get games with the u23s. A compromise instead of loaning them out. Also means they are readily available to 'blood' into the match swuad if needed or to give them playing time as they will be familiar with first team roles.
