Is there going to be a Genie Scout for patch 10.3.0?

I'm not sure about Egypt, but let's suppose he went there. He replied to one of my emails a few days ago, so it would be quite impossible to reply to any emails while on vacations to another country, right?

i don't understand why this people want some money to support site, programmers, etc, and take's no more no less that 2/3 months to release a scout to FM.

an open source of the scout so other people could program as soon as a new patch would be released, would be a good idea...

but after all, who i'm i to talk about this or that ??

if their boss's didn't gave them the monthly check of their work, they would reply too...

I cannot believe this post! Is this a joke? we all should be grateful that Eugene is taking time away from his wife and daughter to do/update the scout AND share it with the community.. I say we just wait and when it is out, we all say THANK YOU..... otherwise, why dont YOU make one from scratch?

Well said! This is the point I tried to make in my comment earlier. This guy is making it for FREE. Who are we to say it should be made by a certain deadline?? It's just plain rude and selfish. It happens every year and its just ridiculous. Eugene will release it when its ready and it will be ready when he has the time to work on it. Cut him some slack.

That said, it doesn't mean I'm any less desperate than others to get the scout! I can't play my game now until its released! As soon as its ready I will be very grateful for its release and would like to thank Eugene in advance! It's a wonderful tool

You are so embarassing. Stop complaining and respect that Eugene has other things to do. As someone pointed out earlier, he is doing this for free and he has no obligation to release new versions if he doesn't want to. If anything we should be thankful for what he has already done.

I give all the credit to Eugene for doing such a popular utility, it certainly isn't easy and since he has no compromise with us, the faithful users of his work, so we can't demand anything from him.
However, I understand the guys that are anxious to see the new version released, after all I come here almost everyday to check if the great news came out...
Just an idea now: wouldn't it be great if there was an open-source scout utility?
Anyway thanks Eugene and FMSCOUT for giving us what we love for the great game that FM is.

GS it's not ready yet but it's already known to most of those who use it that there is always a delay on the release of the last version of the Scout...if Genie Scout is so important for you to play FM, why did you update the game???

Thing is, I'd pay at least £5 for the utility, and have donated £50 before, so he could probably make a half-decent part time job from it he he wanted. This way he could perhaps commit more time to it.

I know that he didn't want the pressure of having to produce it for deadlines etc. but it seems odd nobody else (apart from FMRTE) has produced anything even close to it considering how many people seem to download it.

You can either wait silently for new version and check back often or spam another site's forum and wait for them to steal the file from here when it gets out.
