Is there going to be a Genie Scout for patch 10.3.0?

It's meant to make US a coach (yeah, its also to make us have some fun, but moving along), why don't you try to search "manually" for your players, its hard, but for what i've noticed the scouts are much better this time.

I've already found around 15 or 20 "future-star" players just by letting the scouts do their job (in 4 seasons)(not counting for the "good" players, just the "star" ones).

I know that when you are at very small clubs its difficult to have good staff, but its not impossible.

For example, i spent 3 seasons training "West Brom Albion" and i found around 10 future-stars, meanwhile in just 1 season in Liverpool i have found as many.

Don't let the scouts and editors take control of what you do in your club.

West Brom are a Championship team with a good stadium, and money. Try Vauxhall Motors in league two. Literally no money, and a 200 capacity stadium, and no players will come to the club. Genie scout is a big factor in finding someone good and enjoying the game.

I know you didnt mean anything by it mate, but I don't see the point in going onto a forum about genie scout and telling people to live without it - if they're checking these threads they've obviously already made there decision.

I'm hoping it'll be out relatively soon!

Sorry, i perhaps i was a little missunderstood, i was trying to say that until the new Genie Scout come out we should continue with our saves, with the "tradicional tools".
I admit that i also use it, but only for finding trainers, because we could look for them the regular way, but it would take a lot of hours (i've done it like that) and im not sure if they make a substancial difference.

Funny enough I was reading another forum about the lack of English regens because it's become a problem in my game. So i download genie scout to do my own experiment.
And alot of the "future stars" or "wonder kids" in my squad have no potential at all. Scouts not so good.

West Brom is a professional English club with 5.472 reputation points, a transfer budjet of 3.000.000 € and a wage budjet 368.720 € in my game...

Yes, I must admit, Im desperate for this to happen sooner rather than later too. A provisional date would be appreciated if only to give an inclination as to when it'll appear.

No need to ask for an provisional date or anything. Hopefully it will just come some day. the 10.2 patch came on 17th Dec 09 and the scout supporting it came 17th Jan 10. That could give you an idea.. but then again it might not..

...another day is going away...
