I am now at a stage where my BEng degree in Mechanical Engineering is at its end, and with an inevitability of preforming very much like Everton in my Exams over the next 2 weeks:
(Boring, but will pass the test after a shaky start and with no flair whatsoever)
I look forward to the summer, the world cup, returning to FM for an alarming amount of hours and compiling a story to rival some of the classics on here !
But the question I pose in the next 2 weeks, is that before I resume the labour of love that is FM, what do my fellow nerds/FM fans/ (and staff!!) want to see ?
I have attached a poll ... please vote and I will Begin a story on the bank holiday Monday ... 28/05/18
There is variety in the choices, so please have a vote and I'll get fired in !
My previous story "Rovers return" on here, (Around 40th on the all time story list) which gives you a feel for what I am aiming for - this story had to stop due to my degree tutors informing me I may fail the course ....
Congratulations on your degree, and welcome back. Looking forward to seeing who you take on. My vote goes to England.
FINLAYSON IN FOR THE 3 LIONS
David Finlayson arrives at St. Georges Park to Greet the England squad 11 Months and one qualifying block away from a trip to Russia
The relatively novice coach replaces Gareth Southgate who left under a cloud after revelations around a full back tattoo photo surfaced, a picture which shows an inking of the German Icon Lothar Matthaus holding the world cup aloft above a sea of strewn English footballers.
Gareth was unavailable for comment, but was last spotted entering a Pizza Hut with a bag on his head ?!
Finlayson’s statement to the press revealed his goals for the team
The exuberance shown by the young manager gets tongues wagging in the press conference, and as Finlayson disappears to select his first squad this mild mannered northerner has a glint is his eye and the press room starts to whiff a bit like Euro 96 …………
England is blessed with many a talented boys - but some injured lads need removing from the squad
And the Awful Joe Hart
And in come
Stones and Pickford
both get injured in training so Fraser Foster comes into the group
I set off into the Malta and Slovakia with this squad:
and go for this line up
With this mindset .....
I aim to run Malta off the park with pure speed and pressure
We arrive in Valetta, train well .....
I get the boys in the right frame of mind by telling them to be patient - remember this is Malta's Final ..
I roar out the national anthem and then get set in the dug out for the beginning of an adventure of a lifetime!
