Is it just for me or are arsenal not good in footy manager? i can;t seem to get a fromation to suit all their attacking players... any ideas?

Probably just you im afraid. Arsenal are pretty consistant in all my games, 3rd - 4th, scrapping for top spot a lot.

Initially I'd play 4-2-3-1, Arsenals strength comes from the sheer amount of creative talent in midfield, so have someone like Rosicky supporting VanP, with very attacking wing play. I'd use Fabregas behind these to make the most of his passing and creative ability. He can also be moved up behind the striker as a very tidy playmaker.

4-4-2 works too, depending on your style. Try gettin Walcott to beat the offside trap, and put him up front as a poacher. He may not be the best finisher but he'll get so many chances atleast one has to go in.

Consider purchasing a new CB and a target man (Edin Dzeko?) to make up for some weaknesses front and back.

Hi...i'm playing Arsenal and i use the tactic that usually Chelsea is playing with,4-1-2-1-2.I purchased Christian Zapata from Udineze,Anthony Annan from Rosenborg to cover the defensive mid and use Arshavin behind Walcott and Robin.The two midfielders are Cesc and Denilson(or Nasri).The results are impeccable!!!I score in every match at least two goals and i have the best defence in 15 games with only 5 concede.When the match begins just use overload tactic and a very fluid philosophy.Tell your players to rarely try long shoots and i'm sure that you will love how Andrey-Robin-Theo co-operate!!!
