Hello everyone, hope you're having a nice day today! I return to posting stories after getting a new laptop and FM18, I always wanted to post and posted a few stories back in FM16 before my laptop broke and waited two years to get one.

This story will be about the Spanish club, " Malaga FC " , who was a regular European team, but due to financial troubles they find themselves now in La Liga 1|2|3 ( 2nd division ) in Spain. Hopefully in this story we will try to get them back to Europe and hopefully win some European Silverware!

More info about Malaga will be posted soon, hope you enjoy!

Malaga CF

Malaga CF is a Spanish club formed in the City of Malaga in 1904. The Spanish club is considered to be on the first Spanish clubs to promote football in Spain. The club had a golden era at 1970 with them being predicted to dominate the Spanish scene before their president got involved with Mafias.

Malaga continued and tried to establish themselves as a top flight team, by 2000 they were able to. Forward to 2002 and Malaga won the Intertoto Cup after defeating Spanish fellows Villareal, 2-1. Their run in the Europe League was counted as an overachievement after losing to Portugese club ( Boavista ), they also defeated the likes of Leeds United and AEK Athens.

The football club declined slowly, after three 10th placed positions in a row they found themselves relegated with only 24 points in 2007. The club was able to get back to the top flight but the financial problems struck them, and thus a new owner arrived.

Qatarian businessman ( Abdullah Al Thani ) decided to buy the club and changed the club by appointing ( Manuel Pellegrini ) and signing multiple stars such as ( Salomon Rondon, Isco, Santi Cazorla, and Demichelis ) and the team was able to fight for Champios League spots and had an unforgettable match with eventual finalists Borussia Dortmund in 2013.

Although you could count Abdullah as a hero, however some Malaga fans said he didn't know how to control the club and would destroy the club. Indeed that's what is currently happening, at 2014 the club was banned for three years from European football due to debts, and because of that they sold many of their stars! Isco to Real Madrid, Santi Cazorla to Arsenal, Joaquin to Fiorentina and Jeremy Toulalan to Monaco.

Now our mission is to change the club and not only return them to the top flight but to rejuvenate them and make them one of the greats!

Malaga announce former Madrid captain as Head Coach

In shocking news today Malaga's president Abdullah Al-Thani announced former Champions League winner Fernand Hierro as head coach for the first team.

Fernando Hierro left his spot at Real Oviedo to join the recent relegated side and he's hoping to get them back to top flight!
Good luck!
