I've always had this idea of using Football Manager to attempt to predict the future in some way since I saw how accurate Football Manager had become as a simulator.
So early last month I decided that I would download a database with the latest promotions/relegations and transfers and simulate a premier league season 50 different times and find the average points etc. for each time to predict a final table.
I have a spreadsheet of all the table data from the 50 seasons that then calculates the average wins, draws, losses, goals for, goals against, goal difference and most importantly, points for each team.

I will revisit this at the end of the season and check to see how accurate is Football Manager in reality.
