Hi, after many years of not having 1 of the greatest games ever, i was tempted by the new release and purchased it at the weekend. Forgetting it has to run through Steam, i went to download it to find my work laptop is blocked and unable to download Steam.

I've looked and can't seem to find the answer i'm really hoping for but thought i'd ask on this platform first, is there any way around playing the game without Steam?

Thanks
Maybe install Steam and the game on a USB or external hard drive and just plug and play when you like. Though if it is a Company laptop it might prevent you running the Steam application completely.

Hi, thanks for that suggestion, i've just had it suggested on the live chat as well so i'll give it a go, it's my only option i think so hopefully it works.

Thanks
hiya

It is possible to install Steam without admin rights, it is a bit of a faff but manageable. there are several videos out there and they are self-explanatory too. I did this on my work laptop last year.
