Here's an interesting bug: I took control of a lower league team and in January, I signed a player on an end-of-contract deal, promising him we would win promotion to the top tier within two seasons.
We reached the play offs that season and won promotion to the highest league before this player even joined us.
Since he joined, we finished as runner-up in the top tier, nearly missed out on playing in the group stage of the Champions League and had a good run in the Europa League after that.
Now, it's March and after that hugely succesfull spell he's asking me what I plan to do about not winning promotion to the very same league in which we currently lie 4th.
He's worked himself up to be a team leader as well so my dressing room atmosphere is at rock bottom all of a sudden. I just apologized, told him to get on with his job and hope for the best. I hope Qualifying for European competition will fix his disgruntlement!
