Not enough transfer funds.... when i do?

Hey,

I am Blackburn and have 600K transfer budget left. However when a tranfer is just about to be completed, my board tell me to delay for a week as i do not have enough funds for the transfer. The players i am trying to buy are only for 100K or 200K which i can afford but for some reason it is not allowing the deal to go through?

Sorry if it was a dumb question but i could really use some help please as it is stopping me from progressing in the gaame.

just a little extra info;

i now have 800K budget left and i still have 10K wage budget left.
However in my pending trasnfers box on the home screen, my wage budget is in the red?

No further reason why you should delay it for a week?
Pls post a screen where u see the transfer budget and a screen were it says you should delay the transfer for a week...
