Most fmscout users are lurking as guests since there was no need to create a member account. That is the main downside to having everything free for all without limitations. And I say "was" because as of today we have implemented a minor change that might (or might not) affect that tendency.
As a guest you will now get an intermediate page with a 5-second delay before your download begins (in case the file is hosted locally on our servers) or you get redirected to an external host. You can easily bypass this delay simply by logging in to your member account.
I have always been against forcing people to sign up in order to access content. So this solution seems ideal. No harm waiting for 5 seconds if you still don't want to register, but a reasonable incentive to turn into a member and hopefully become an active part of our community.
