yes i can because messi would be a lot worse without xavi or iniesta while robben is scoring the sickest goals every week and just two days ago he scored 3 and made an assist.

...i agree, Robben it world class at what he does.. but he is not really the greatest player!..

you gotta see how robben scores his goals and how messi does it.
robben creates the goals himself, messi nets the ball.

don't get me wrong, messi is an incredible player, but right now i would prefer robben.

When a player dribbles from the beginning of the opponent's midfield, sometimes with 4 men around him, it can't be that easy... Robben is a great player, I can't understand why Real Madrid let him leave but man Messi's the best...

i am saying that messi has xavi, iniesta and ibrahimovic to distract the others and supply him with balls. of course messi is absolutely insane with barca.

but on the other hand look at robben.
bayern is VERY good, but he is the one that is creating chances and running through the defense like they're poles.

To be honest, lets just wait until the play each other...i can assure you that messi will stand out more!

I haven't seen Robben play regularly since he moved to Bayern, but I will conceed his immense ability.

However he isnt even close to Messi, and I don't honestly believe you can argue that point, I get the feeling youre a teeny weeny bit biased.

Messi doesnt just bag the goals, he makes chances for himself, he dribbles like no one else, the ball just sticks to his feet. He can score with either foot in a variety of ways. Granted he does have all the fantastic players at Barca backing him up, but I believe it would be doing an incredible disservice to him if you try to argue that without the team he'd be on a similar level to Robben.
