Impossible to win a game

Hey!

I'm managing Feyenoord, having a great streak and good atmosphere in the dressing room, but I just can't beat AZ while my form is better, players are better and I'm playing home, doesn't really matter which tactical approach I use, I always lose this match, even when they get a red card. And okay they are just ahead of me in the table but still, this seems very weird to me.

I really start to think this manager game is far from realistic. Does anybody know what might help?

You can't just throw a bunch of different tactics at your team, they need to train in them to gain proficiency. Sending them out with a different tactic can be worse if they aren't trained in it.

It sounds like you have found a "scripted" game. I've come across these, I ran into a game that pissed me off so I reloaded and tried again. Out of something like eight tries I got a straight red in half of them, and someone got a red through yellow cards in all but the last one where I finally won.

Oh okay, so there are 'scripted games'. That's quite weird, because that would mean, whatever tactics or such things you use, you will lose eitherway.

Well, my team can play different tactics so they were familiar with the tactics I used. I didn't come further than a draw so I let it stay like that.

The game after again, 0-2 ahead at halftime, final score 4-2, sometimes I really don't understand this game. There are such weird things in it. Last time, my goalkeeper made handball and then he went to the var to see if it was a penalty. xD
