Hi everyone! This is my first ever post here and it took a really good reason for me to do so. I absolutely love FM 19 and have few issues with it. Although in my current save with Atalanta i have encountered a very annoying bug. I signed Matheus Fernandes from Palmerias and he should be able to be registered as a non-EU player but im unable to. I had 3 players in my club who had the non-EU tag (you should be able to have 4) but when i signed him i couldnt for some reason register him even when i cleared up a spot in the squad. I even tried to make him an italian citizen with the editor but the tag wouldnt dissapear. Ive tried every possible solution i can think of and even read and re-read the rules surrounding non-EU players several times. whats even more vexing is that when i signed Alan Franco (from Argentina, i hadnt noticed that i couldnt register Fernandes yet and assumed you could sign 2 non-EU players per season) later on i could register him but not Fernandes (!?). I even reloaded to a point before i signed Franco but had signed Fernandes but still i couldnt register him. If anyone have found a fix for this issue please help me!
