How To Win Against Bigger and Better Teams?

What is a good tactic out there to use to beat larger and better teams in FM19? I'm managing a team consisting of mainly 3 and 3.5 star players, with only about 1 or 2 four star players. This season, I'm going up against larger teams for the champions cup, such as Olympique Lyonnais, AC Milan, Real Madrid, and more.

Be brave, like really brave push high up and press them but you have to do it in the right shape because they have enough quality to play around you. Thats my advise, but the most important thing to remember is to not be a coward because thats what they want thats what they prepared for.
