Transfer Budget

Does anyone know what happens to unused transfer budgets? In the past I have always assumed unused transfer money just vanishes so I have always been reluctant to leave any significant money unspent - is this the case or if you have say 20m left and leave it to the next season, does that money get added into the clubs balance for next season?

Nothing really happens, it's all calculated from your bank balance, projected income for the following season and other factors. If your finances are in good shape you'll get a very nice transfer budget every season.

So it makes no difference if i spend it all or keep some back?

Technically that is correct, it's quite complicated how budgets are worked out as there are a lot of factors but your transfer/wage budgets definitely won't just vanish. Essentially, any left over budget available will be taken into account when deciding your budget for the next season.
