FM20 Features - Reaction

Sports Interactive revealed the headline features of Football Manager 2020 on September 18th. And since then, we get at least one small feature drop on a daily basis.

I personally feel its all been very good. Even though we can be critical of Miles at times the "features" he has posted only makes the game better and more in depth. At first I was quite hesitant with several of the headline features but this completely changes the game for me and can make it so much more interesting. In particular the five year plans and youth development features will keep me involved more long term and not feel bored after a prolonged period of time.

Overall very good.

I really love the new features. A lot of these features are things I've felt for a while limited the game by not being included. For instance, the playing time pathway is an incredible addition, and developing long term plans and goals is a really good idea.

I honestly can't wait for this to drop now. I'm checking every day for updates!

I'm getting the impression that FM20 is more about polishing, reorganizing and improving what was already there, rather than introducing brand new stuff.

That isn't a bad thing because FM19 was very well received as a game.

There's a lot of bad reaction on the official SI forum, but for me the club vision thing looks really intriguing if it's implemented well and doesn't get repetitive.
