Managerial Challenge: Vittorio Pozzo
This challenge has only been completed by one man in history in real life. Vittorio Pozzo is the only manager to win the world cup as a manager, back to back. He did it with Italy in 1934 & 1938.
This is your challenge;
When selecting a national team, you must choose a team within the top 7 of the World Rankings in game. According to the ELO rankings; Italy was in the top 5 teams in the world at the start of the 1934 FIFA World Cup.
You must go through all rounds of qualification during your whole campaign.
Pozzo won the Central European International Cup; a precursor to the Euro’s. Your job is to win the main confederation competition with your nation. For example, this would be the Euro’s, not the UEFA Nations League.
During Pozzo’s reign, he never lost a World Cup match. Your goal is to not lose a world cup match.
