Status of the team

I was always wondering if you take charge of amateur team and promote them into higher leagues do they change status or status stay the same?

do u mean if they still are an amateur team? no of course not.

so eventually they will be proffesional team

I've always managed to get my European teams to turn professional after a promotion or two. The only time I've had a team not change status was when I was playing a South American side. I had a great story going but dropped it because the semi-professional status was just too much of a restriction.

Ok then. I wanted this information because when i finishe playing CS Louhans Cuiseaux i wanted to play Whitehaven AFC which is amateur team in 10th English league( i have downloaded file in which you can play in 11th English leagues).
