Re/Newgens asking for weird contracts

Hi fellow FMscout members.
So with using geniescout i stumbled upon the following 2 interesting regens.



But when it comes to offering them a contract the following happens:



Ever since fm2008 and no matter which beta version i have played since fm14, has this happened before.
It's also happening to every other re/newgen i try to approach that has atleast a decent rating.
While in fm19 for example if you really want to get that super good regen you just offer them up to 17.5K right after they enter the game and all is fine but 175K per month pff

Anyone else running into this issue aswell?

I have the same experience, only with young players.

Now, I play with yearly wages, and with NOK (Norwegian currency), so these are estimates,
but I'm trying to sign Matias Palacios from San Lorenzo, and he wants mad wages.
About 80mil NOK a year, that's about 7mill GBP a year, 130k p/w-ish.

He makes 150 punds p/w now, and my scouts esitmate he wants 4,5-5k p/w.

I have only encountered this with south american youngster, and I can see that is the case for you as well.
Waiting on confirmation from Emanuel Vignato rn, he only wants 22k p/w, and he is being signed from Chievo.
I am overpaying for his wages because of an extention clause, and he still is way cheaper than the south americans.

Too bad, but it's still beta and early days, I guess it will get better

It indeed seems to be an issue with south american players not only regens.
At the same time other clubs manage to pick them up for a low wage!
