Barrow has been a real asset to have. A fantastic signing from Bierofka. The best so far perhaps.

Reigning Bundesliga manager of the year Daniel Bierofka has secured his future with 1860 Munich

• Bierofka has signed a two-year extension with 1860 Munich
• The 43-year-old will make €17,250 per week under the terms of his new contract

After receiving interest from other clubs, 2021/22 Bundesliga Manager of the Year Daniel Bierofka has secured his future with 1860 Munich by signing a new contract with the club ahead of the new season. In his new agreement, Bierofka is set to be with 1860 Munich through until June 2025.

“After surviving relegation last season, I am really looking forward to continuing to find different ways to improve our club in every aspect.” said Bierofka. “We may be fighting for survival once again this season, but everyone involved is ready for the challenge.” he added.

“We are delighted that Daniel has elected to stay with the club so close to his heart.” and said 1860 Munich President Niklas Volker. “The passion he displays every day in his role is admirable and pivotal to the future of 1860 Munich.” he added.

Its impossible to hate Bierofka. He needs a statue now after that extension, showing incredible dedication!
1
He’ll be Daniel Beerofka tonight in celebration of that extension!
1
He's earned it. Time and time again Bierofka has proven his worth and now it's time to step that up a gear in the confines of his new contract.

Well deserved extension and as Jack said, time to push even more now. Hopefully we can start seeing some pressure on those European sides soon enough!
1
That will certainly deter any speculation about his future!

tedbro20: Very loyal, keen to see my project through to the end

Eoin97: Might need to wait until I become a legend to break out the plans for a statue

Justice: Dangerous day to be a pint!

Jack: Build that club.. build that club!

TheLFCFan: I will be happy to just stay up again this season

ScottT: No doubt at all, in for the long haul
A huge coup for the bright future of 1860 Munich!

brilliant investment by the club. Can only help drive the increase of funds and talented youth players coming through

It's always a shame to leave behind a stadium that has been such a main-stay in the club's history. Hopefully 1860 can give it the send-off it deserves before the move takes place and the fans can enjoy it before saying goodbye too.
1
Big movements for the club following such impressive results over the last few years. The stadium move will allow for added income from ticket sales and that should help the club propel further up the table!
1
Some great news coming out of the club with the new contract and now the stadium - although some fans are always divided on the issue of leaving a home. Into the 21st century!
