Camavinga Arrives At 1860 On Free Transfer

The future looks bright for 1860 Munich with the arrival of Eduardo Camavinga

• Camavinga is expected to earn around €20,000 per week on his contract with the club
• Despite his young age, Camavinga is the international captain for Congo
• Loan arrival Pedro Porro has played just four games in three seasons for his club Manchester City

Eduardo Camavinga will play in the Bundesliga next season after 1860 Munich pulled off a major coup by securing the signature of the 19-year-old after he elected to not sign a new contract with Stade Rennais FC. The youngster is no stranger to success with Stade Rennais claiming the Trophee des Champions and the Coupe de la Ligue BKT during his four seasons with the club.

After making 83 appearances in the Ligue 1 across four seasons, it was time for a change for the Congolese international, making himself available to all suitors across Europe. Despite the fierce competition, 1860 Munich managed to bring in Camavinga who will prove to be a great asset to the clubs midfield in the upcoming season.

“I wished to play somewhere that will assist me in developing my skills and progressing my career.” said Camavinga. “The Bundesliga is a very tough competition and I look forward to competing against some incredible players and improving each day.” he added.

1860 Munich have also secured Manchester City right back Pedro Porro on loan for the season. The Spaniard has been contracted by the English side for the past three years and will be spending his third season in on loan at another club after stints with Real Valladolid and Bristol City.

Eoin97: Happy to be in a position where I can now pull this off

tedbro20 & TheLFCFan: Increasing our revenue is certainly my intent here

ScottT & Jack: I really don't enjoy leaving as I love having history but I had no choice with no ability to expand
Errr wow. What a fantastic signing that is. I'm speechless!

Pedro Porro is another very decent piece of business.

Oft that's one hell of a free transfer there. He could singlehandedly get you in the top half of the table and he will be who you build the team around now as well

I made a top 10 wonderkids list in November, and Camavinga was in my top 10! He is insaneeeeee. Best free transfer I've seen this FM for sure. If he develops as he can, in 2-3 seasons, he would be worth 50m plus easy..... :)

How have you managed to pull that one of then? On a free! Incredible bit of business
1
Now that is some incredible business. The best free transfer since Pirlo to Juventus! ;)
Oof. That’s a big transfer to pull out of the depths of your Wheel Barrow. You’re certainly constructing quite the team.

Just caught up with this! Great to see you survive the Bundesliga! Hopefully this season can be a springboard for further success!
What a save, just read almost all of it and you've done extremely good. My last save in FM19 was with but never had time to finish it, as I played 2 seasons only.

Exceptional signings!

Bradaric & Kana Move To Germany

Domagoj Bradaric is one of two early transfer moves from 1860 Munich

• LOSC Lille have received a fee of €5,000,000 for Domagoj Bradaric
• Kana made his international debut for Belgium during the 2021/22 season
• Despite surviving last season, 1860 Munich are favourites for relegation from the Bundesliga

After conceding the second most goals in the Bundesliga last season, 1860 Munich manager Daniel Bierofka moved early in the transfer window, looking to strengthen his defence by bringing in Domagoj Bradaric from LOSC Lille and Marco Kana from RSC Anderlecht.

Despite the impressive performances of Philipp Steinhart who led the assists last season, left back Domagoj Bradaric arrives to 1860 Munich with a solid reputation after his performances for LOSC Lille where he made 93 appearances in three seasons. The pressure will be placed immediately on the 22-year-old with his place in the side not certain.

Marco Kana is a centre back who is known for having a mentality of a much older player. In a bid to assist his development, the 19-year-old spent last season on loan with OGC Nice in Ligue 1 before signing for 1860 Munich for €3,900,000.

“There is no doubt defence is what we must improve on if we want to ensure we retain our place in the Bundesliga.” said Bierofka. “The signing of two talented young defenders will certainly help us in achieving an improvement in this area.” he added.

It is expected that Bierofka will make further moves in the transfer market with a reported €6,000,000 still available to improve the squad.

ScottT, tedbro20, Eoin97, TheLFCFan, Jack & Justice: I was in disbelief when I saw him off-contract

JuddeaLCFC: Welcome Juddea, glad to have you following, I certainly hope I can keep building

OneMoreGame: Happy with where I am at, no rest for the wicked though

deadzpool: Thank you mate
Some really shrewd business this window with Camavinga coming in and now these two on relatively cheap fees compared with what no doubt the likes of Bayern/Dortmund etc. will be paying out this summer.

Another couple excellent pieces of businesses. Think you will easily avoid the relegation fight again next season
Incredible business. Bierofkas scouts need a raise!
There is clear improvement in the squad from last season. Weaknesses have been identified and have been acted upon in this window. I think the bookies are incredibly naive to think 1860 will be heading for the drop.
