Luka Modric Ineligible

I have signed Luka Modric from Dimano for AC Milan and Arsenal and each time I get to register my players for the Champions League it says that he is ineligible and he didn't even play a single game for Dinamo before I signed him!! Anyone know what's happening or how I can fix this bug (the FM Editor doesn't seem to have any field I can edit for this).

I think its not a problem or a bug they just registrate him for the season in uefa competiton

Unfortunately croatian clubs have to play in the first round of qualification for champions league or uefa cup so you would have to be very quick to sign him before he is registered for dinamo.
