I`m a season and a half in to my Man Utd save and trying everything to get rid of Alexis Sanchez. besides costing me a fortune in wages his form is poor and I`ve several players ahead of him in that position.
Has anyone managed to sell him yet?
The best thing to do is cut your losses. Release him ASAP if he won't sell. It will save you money in the long term. If thats not possible, then letting him run down his contract is the only option

Cheers, by releasing him wouldn't I have to pay all of his remaining contract? or does it work out less by doing it this way?
You could try offering him out to clubs (for £0 if you really want rid) and pay a certain amount of his wages, probably would have to be at least 50%. If that doesn't work, try loaning him out and maybe try the 50% of wages again but apart from that, there isn't much you can really do. If you try to release him, chances are your board won't allow you to do so.
Final resort would be sticking him in the U-23's, criticize him for his training, form & conduct and that might upset him enough to try and force a move.
Well, it looks like I`m stuck with him for an other 1 Season!.
A contract release will cost me £24 million and a mutual termination wasn't allowed!.
I've offered him to clubs with a 75% contribution of wage and still no one bites!
What a disaster signing him was! In real life and on the game!!!
I gave him to the DOF to either sell or release. He agreed a mutual termination of £13M. Worth it when you consider his wages.
I had him as a backup LW to martial and won the europa league and premier league that season before selling him
