[FM20] Wandering to Titles - Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C

I’ve been playing Football Manager type games ever since Premier Manager 98. Back then, football management games were simpler and more streamlined. Seasons could be completed within an hour yet the joy and satisfaction was just as it is for me today.

Extra Time FM is a blog where I plan to write about the highs and lows of my Football Manager saves. Football Manager is all about the journey and documenting that helps add to the enjoyment.

Thank you mate. I've been trying out new styles & layouts throughout the episodes. Each episode does follow a particular month of the journey though.

Writing about a save certainly gets you more invested in your team. It's great fun. Give it a go. You'll get better and better with each post you make.

A mighty tough February coming up. I wouldn't be so interested in the FA Cup as I want to try and get as far as I can in the Europa League, but I can't turn down trying to smash West Brom in the Black Country Derby. It doesn't come around very often now they're in the Championship.

A tough month but we knew it was going to be. But we definitely had something to cheer about.

Episode 10 is now live!

Wandering to Titles - Solid Progression (March) Episode 10

A great month by all accounts. A tasty fixture against Salzburg in the Europa League while we also try and make headway in the league.

A near perfect month for us in April as we do our best to finish strong.

We went on a stunning run that could see us eventually finish in a Champions League spot.

Episode 12 is now published.

With a late surge of wins we finish the season with the possibility to finish 4th. Also a Europa League final is in sights, but first we have to get past RB Leipzig.

A very important summer transfer window is coming up now. £77m given from the board to spend. Could be much more if any of the big boys come in for our star players - but I need to hold onto as many of our players as possible. I'm here to build a dynasty.

Wandering to Titles - Season Review, Episode 13

What a season we just had. Such an amazing ride from start to finish. Big things are needed this summer as we try and compete in the best club competition in world football.

We now move into the 2nd season with Wolves. After an incredible first season, we embark on possibly the most important transfer window in Wolves history.

We have to make solid additions to the squad if we are to be able to compete in the champions league.

We're finally underway with season 2 competitive fixtures. An interesting start as we face PSG in the Super Cup. They are absolutely stacked in all areas of the pitch.

A new tactic is now training. Unsure when to use it just yet, but it's there as a backup.

Our first taste of Champions League football is upon us. We've come a long way in such a short amount of time.

After a successful month of fixtures in September, I wanted to take that momentum and fire it down the throats of our next opponents.

A short but sweet month again for November. All winnable games in my eyes and we could create some real momentum before the festive period if we do so.
