I don't know if anyone have seen this or know this but there's a way to sign young players very cheap for lower league clubs like there were in fm 19, just a little different
Save the game...
Find a player under 21 without contract that want's to be a star player, change it to youngster and make a promise that in 3 years his playingtime will be star player. Remove everything else then playing time and start date.
he will agree havent have anyone that didn't
In the contract negotiation push - on appearance fee, remove and exclude any goal or clean sheet bonus and push - in Unused substitute fee.. the appearance fee and sub fee should go down to what you can pay and push suggest terms
keep taking the appearance fee and sub fee down by one and suggest Terms until the player says last chance and the text under his name turns yellow
Then you turns it to non-negotiable and suggest terms.. 90% of the time they will accept.. done it so many times and if they don't accept, load the game and take them on a trial.
when they come on trail do the steps from the start and they may accept...
There are some player that you just can't sign but i have tried it with many and only go 2 players that didn't want to sign
