FM Scout v8.0 Tracker

Beta period for the new site has kicked off, and the idea is to keep tweaking and improving with your help until the end of September at least.

This topic will be updated on a daily basis until beta period ends, to help everyone involved with the new site version to track down all changes being applied. You can expect 2 main changes per day.

Please use this topic to post all of your bugs findings, improvement suggestions and any other ideas that may help us make a better site for your own use.

Day 1: Comments back on blog pages, Live Scores back and restyled
Day 2: Forums section view updated, Search auto-complete suggest
Day 3: Homepage news restyled, footer colors changed
Day 4: Latest comments on index, Facebook like for pages
Days 5-9: Pages revamp, homepage improvements, several bug fixes
Days 10-13: Page pic, header changes, general background changed

Search auto-complete suggest is probably the most impressive new feature so far.

More changes and updates coming tomorrow; some fresh and interesting content as well (an interview perhaps... hint, hint!). Must fix an issue that came up with some page aliases.

Have you checked out other Football Manager websites to see whats good about them?

Obviously mate, but do you have in mind?

The thing is most other FM sites are either blogs or forums, and none is custom enough and all-around enough. Everything is kind of limited to follow a predefined prototype, while we do not.

We are still in the beginning of the beta period and plenty of changes will take place in the long run. I would appreciate specific suggestions instead of generic thoughts though.
