Receiving a lot of goals over the top

Hey there,

I am playing 4-2-3-1 from ZION https://www.fmscout.com/a-fm20-tactic-4231-attack-by-zion.html

I am receiving a bunch of goals over the top and have a lot of one on ones with the opposition striker. That seems to be the draw back of a high line and pushing in the opposition half.

Any idea how to combine the two aspects (high line and not shipping so many goals)?

Thx
Ok, if anyone is interested.

I did two changes which seem to have helped a lot!

1.
I stepped back the "Attack" mentality to "Positive"

2.
The line of engagement and the back line were both pushed backwards 2 steps. Also not preventing the goal keeper from distributing.

I only had 1-2 balls over the top in the past 3 games but still feel I am getting enough press and winning back the ball.
Try dropping your mentality back a bit, your defensive line is already high on that mentality so if you bump it up even more you'll be right into the opposition half.

Make sure your back line is quick, if you're playing in a top 10 league everyone in your back line would probably want 13 acceleration minimum and pace something similar although that's secondary. You need very good players for your division to play with that sort of risk.
