I always have been wondering if you are playing B team can you promote them into the same league as A team for example in Spanish league you can start Villarreal B in Liga Adelante and can you promote them to La Liga playing against Villarreal.
Quite simply...no even if they win it! They cannot play in the same league
I think, as a guess, they could go up providing Villareal got relegated so you would have the first team in Adelante and the B team in La Liga
You probably could do it in FM if you edited it correctly, but it would be an effort.
