Hi,

I would like to know, if standard of a league changes with years?
E.g. I play Slovak league - 4th season and I still cannot attract good players (I mean average, I do not want to buy Torres :-).
"He is not sure moving into a Slovakian club would be a good idea".
After getting twice into CL Group stage I got a lot of money, to offer much better wage than f.i. in Czech republic.
Does that ever change?

Regarding the training facilities:
How much money do I need to upgrade?
What is the best time to ask for upgrade of the facilities?
Can I force board to improve the facilities ( I have 10 million EUR in bank)?
My board refused to upgrade good facilities to Top facilities saying that our facilities are best in the league... that sucks man.

Thanks for the tips and hints :-)
have you heard of the FM modifier? hehe

thing is your clubs reputation is not "high" enough to attract players you might want to buy.

because if you win a league like the slovakian league your reputation wont go up. i mean like in reality, how many know of the slovakian league and how good their teams are? not many to be honest.

and thats how it is in fm, the clubs reputation wont go that high because a your slovakian team wins domestically.

but does anyone know if the league itself can improve in reputation if you do well in Europe? for instance I took FC Copenhagen to the Euro cup final and won the league and cup and my club's reputation went down (since winning a small league does not improve it), my UEFA coefficient went up, but I wonder if it made the Danish league reputation go up?

i dont know about that, but i you can edit these type of things in the editor if you want to make ur danish league a bit better for an exampel. well not better but you can raise its reputation and such.

Well, I think it is a big set back if the reputation of the weaker league cannot improve. I am regularly in champions league group and one Slovakian team is in the group stages of UEFA cup. If it is 5 years in a row, the standard of the league should improve...
Also TV rights could go up, attendances should go up etc. Of course I will not expect it to be 80 000 in a town with 70 000 inhabitants :-)
I am trying to sell players I do not need only to Slovak league clubs to improve its competitiveness...
well that is not a problem with just a Slovak league, it's the same thing with Serbian league aswell. But i think that players with high reputation and ambitious ones wouldn't sign for even a best club in a low reputation league. Im talking about the real players, not just FM players.. it sucks but that is how it works...
the leagues reputation will also become higher if their national team do well i think. so if for an exampel slovakia win the world cup then the league will get more known.

You have to build up slowly from a small nation and use the money from player sales to eventually become rich enough to bring in bigger and bigger players, and your club should still become more famous if you do well in Europe.

For instance you buy two players for 500k then win the league and sell them for 4m, then bring in better players with that money or on the cheap, since you dont need huge players to win a small league. then you can keep selling and accumulate fees or sign promising youngsters on long term contracts who will improve to become top class.

There is just one rule.

Some people don't want to go to certain countries, it's a fact!

No amount of money will change this. I had shed loads of money at IF Heimer and I was champions twice. I couldn't even buy Championship players even if I had tried to.

mate it depends on your teams reputation as well. so its possible...if you cheat :p

But in real football it doesn't! Celtic couldn't sign Thierry Henry (esq players) despite having one of the largest fanbase in Europe because the Scottish league has such a bad rep. They could pay his wages but he still wouldn't come.
i said 'its possible' and then i said if u cheat as well...

u cant say its not possible that a big player goes to celtic. it can happen you never know :O

but as i said its possible but of course its highly unlikely for that to happen in modern football.
Hey Red I speak swedish hej röd jag tala svensk till
