Inconsistent information

Been away for a while - since FM 16. Nice to be playing again with FM20 but I'm noticing inconsistencies I don't recall to my many years playing before. Maybe they were there.

Third season in, Andrea Belotti finishes Serie A in Italy as top goal scorer with 31 goals from 37 appearances.
Torles Knoll also finishes with 31 but Belotti wins due to having score his goals in less playing time.

At the same time Torles Knoll wins the European golden boot with 31 goals from 37 appearances.
Joint top goal scorer with Andrea Belotti of course but apparently he scored his goals in less playing time.

En serio?

It's a little silly thing but I am really hoping I'm not going to be noticing many of these things now because quite simply they shouldn't be there.

as far as i'm aware, the European award doesn't just take minutes played into account, in case of a tie.

I've seen it written somewhere that the points system used will include assists, number of matches scored in, importance of goals, when separating a tie.

I'm not sure what the current rule is, that was a couple years ago that i'd read it.
