FM 2011 League Licensed?

Will there be any new league licenced for example

Barclays Premier League? it would make it more realistic

any others?

I don't think so mate, and to be honest we don't need that because we have the editor and all those third party addons we can apply to the game to make it as realistic as possible.

Expensive licenses
The expense involved trying to obtain licenses for each of the featured leagues in FM is probably not worth it, especially when they may be tied to contracts with other games.

For example EA Sports appears to be spending most of the production budget into obtaining licensed brand names, rather than concentrating on the quality of the games themselves.

Active community, plus data editor
FM has a very active community, and there are people who make very good use of the editor that comes with the game. And then they offer those addons to the rest of us... that's a great asset other games lack.
Players of course are free to make any changes they want themselves too.

Obviously SI are not officially able to release the game with certain specific names in place due to the licenses, but there is nothing to stop the user changing things by using the editor.
