Inter Appoint O’Brien as Manager
After Pipping Juve to the league title (on Head to Head) & clinching a 2-1 victory over the Turin Giants with a last minute goal in the Italian Cup Final the fans and board alike were thrilled with O’Briens first campaign in charge.
Using a 3-5-2 formation for the majority of the season was working wonders only to hit a wee sticky patch where the wheels looked like they were going to fall off!
Inter Rallied, O’Brien’s tinkering, tweaking his formation going between the 3-5-2 & 4-1-2-3 tactic which helped to gain some vital results.
The Summer came and so did valuable transfers
Leroy Sane, Cengiz Under, David’s Zappacosta & Alex Grimaldo have so far proved a huge success joining talent such as Tonali, Eriksen, Barella & Lukaku I’m turning Inter into a force to be reckoned with in not only the domestic league but Europe.
O’Brien ditched the 3-5-2 & went with an attacking 4-1-2-3 Formation that has seen some impressive results, Beatinj Parma in the opening day 7-0, Fiorantina 5-0, Empoli 7-1 & Man City 4-1 in Europe to name a few. Romelu Lukaku has 20 goals in 10 matches including 5 in the romp of Empoli.
