Editing database help

I’m working on a file where I want to have cis which is Canadian university so there’s 6 divisions 48 teams overall, so each team plays home and away in their division.... I want to do like a round robin with top 8 move onto quarter finals... only thing is that it’s 48 teams so if I want to have season end of oct 26th and then have round robin say 28th of oct to nov 6 so 8 pools of 6 that way after round robin playoff play the the top team in each pool would move onto the quarter finals on nov 8th then from nov 8th to 11 u have quarters semis bronze and championship... what I’m saying possible to do

so season begins August 23rd goes to oct 6th u play 2 times against each team in ur pool during the the season.. then I want to have playoffs oct 28 to nov 6 aka round robin playoffs 8 pools of 6 teams at one location... over that 10 day period... the top team of each pool moves onto quarter finals...

I just thought of something... instead of round robin tournament soon as season ends on October 26th have a FA trophy type thing 48 teams then 36 then 24 then 16 (oct 28th to nov 7th) the quarter finals nov 8th semis 9th and then 3rd place and championship nov 11th is this hard to create?
