I'm managing HSV and I'm in my second season now (2020/21). I found two really good Newgens, one from USA and the other from Swaziland. They are both available on a free transfer but the "Next Available" Date says 1.7.2021. Why can't I get them for this season? Is it because they are underage and foreigners?

It will be becuase you can sign youth players from your own continent under the age of 18 but FIFA rules state that players can only sign for clubs in a different continent when they reach the age of 18
