do you have any issues with speed? i cant seem to run a network game with a mate as when i host his games take 20-mins to complete with no highlights/minimum settings

We've not had too many issues. There's a 2-3 minute delay for the person on the slower device in loading up the pre-match screen, but other than that we haven't had any major issues so far, thankfully.
