I'm not sure if you noticed, but we got our hands on the preview build of Football Manager 2011, even though we decided against writing up a preview about it. The reason is quite simple really... all other fansites who got access to this build would write such previews, and they would be more or less the same.

We'll start linking out to all those quality content from around the FM scene in the coming days anyway, through our upcoming FM network section.

In fact, instead of a preview I composed the first detailed list of wonderkids in FM 2011, and on this section I will be constantly adding list with the best players within Football Manager 2011, probably by country.

Anyway, the point of this topic is that you should feel free to ask me anything you want regarding FM 2011 and I will get back to you with an answer and screenshots if needed.

Post a new topic preferably, instead of replying here (you gotta be a member here, and logged in).

What is Cristaino Ronaldo's rating for playing as a striker? by this i mean: "natural", "accomplished", "awkward" etc......

and the same goes with Lionel Messi can he play in the AMC position as good as he can play in the AMR/AML positions. I ask this question because everytime i watch Barcelona in real life (even messi in the 2010 WC he played in the AMC position for argentina) Messi plays in the hole and not always out wide.... when i try to implement this in FM10 it fails horribly since his rating is competent or something like that and it takes forever to retrain him to get better at playing AMC.

Cristiano Ronaldo has a rating of 15/20 for the striker position, which means accomplished.

Lionel Messi actually has a rating of 20/20 for AMC, which seems to be his only natural position. Accomplished are AMR (19) AML (17) / MR (15) / ML (15) / ST (17).

Could you tell me how good Mesut Ozil and Alexandre Pato are in fm 11 compared to fm 10 please?

Don't have FM 2010 installed anymore mate, but I can tell you how good they are on FM 2011.

In FM2010 Alexandre Pato: CA:166 PA:187
Mesut Ozil: CA:152 PA:178

Quite similar to FM 2011... Ozil is slightly improved and Pato slightly degraded.

what is darren bent's finishing? in FM10 i think it was only 14, he should atleast be 16 lol (sorry but i am just a little biased)

and also, what is sunderland's transfer budget, wage budget and season predictions?

Note that the press version that we got is considered an unfinished product and so is the players' database in theory, which means that on the retail version there might be some slight changes.
Anyway, there you go...
