Plenty of experience as well as youth in those signings. A careful balance. A tough draw against Lyon... Good luck, although I suspect it is a step too far for the time being.

Very good work with Kilmarnock so far, but still a long way off toppling the two Scottish giants, but I have faith you can
So 2 offers to move down south have been swiftly rejected as the plan to try and put a change on Scottish football continues. Below is the start to the 3rd season - very busy schedule hence the poorer start in the league. Added David Platt, Jari Litmanen and Terry Butcher to the back room team. Losing out in the qualifier to Lyon is no embarrassment, one of their players is paid more than our entire squad. A good learning curve for the boys but an eye opener all the same how far off it we are. Delighted to have won the first qualifier and generate some good funds and reputation for the club.
Hopefully the additions of Wayne Rooney, Scott Brown, Billy Gilmour and Jeremie Frimpong can help us try and finish high again this season.
Best of luck with this season! But unlucky to draw a team as strong as Lyon, no shame to get outclassed by them
