Stopping dual nationalites regens

I want to stop dual nationalities happening within my game.

I have ticked the 'does not allow dual nationality' option in the information section of the Nations database. I have done this for every single nation in the game.

In 2023 I have 4 players that have somehow become dual nationality
in 2030 I have 636 players that have dual nationality

Cooper Idol, it might be that once a foreign national is in the country for __ years they decide to take that nationality to help with foreign player requirements. Happens a lot in Spain and with Brexit I think this might be happening in the UK as well as Spain/Italy/wherever, with this part of the game code over-riding your non-dual nationality part of the code.

yes that makes sense I suppose. I had created a World League in Andorra and the newgens eventually help them win the Euros which annoys me. I'll think of another way around it. Thanks for your help and reply
