Need help with FM

I have been playing fm for a while now. I have been struggling with creating a tactic and I have tried using preset playing styles with some results and some bad results. What can I do to change from a mid table team to a continental football.

It takes a lot of tweaking to find the right tactic!

First think of how you want your team to play (attacking possession, high press, counterattack etc) and then work out how you would need your players to play to achieve that

From there it is reading the player roles and testing it out thorughout the seasons - if youre a lower league team and not expected to fight for promotion you will have some more time to test it out

Once youve found your formation its getting the players in with the right stats to complement this

I’ve managed Ivory Coast and won the African nations cup twice. I use the player search mostly
then using the national pool.
