Home Grown Players (England)

Hi guys

I'm not sure about this... if i am managing in England and i bought a young foreign players, If i want to loan him for a season it won't count as one of the three years he needs to train at the club in order to get the home grown at club stats? If i am loaning him to an English club in any league will it count?

the time is all connected to contract length.
where the player plays is not important.

he can play on the moon and still accumulate years in england.

i had to loan out players but they still accumulated years in england.
