This has worked for me but its just an idea to put out to you guys.
Try to buy 2 players at the same club.
Make an offer really over the asking price on the player you don’t want, wait some days, offer accepted and contract negotiations will start with that player.
Then go and find the 2nd player who is the one you really want.
Make an offer for asking price (or a little over) on the 2nd player. Hopefully they will accept and then you can do the same process with the player you really want.
Of course, you reject or delay the 1st player and never complete the deal but the 2nd player will be completed and all is good
It worked really well for me when signing 3 players and hopefully it can give you better financial deals.
