Hi, congrats on the promotion, btw what skin is that as i don't like the one seton the game, but like the one your using. also im a bournemouth fan and always try to get them into the prem but never achieve this, i get as far as gettin them to champ then i get bored, but i really wana acheive it this time around do you know of any good players who are capable of doing well in league1?

It’s the default dark skin that’s already in game, go to FM preferences - display & sound and change skin

Only managed in League 2 so far but these are some players that have done well for me and I think can make the step up.
I have a lot of players loaded from other nations so some of these might not be in your game

Kjetil Neple DRC - very young but has good potential and is developing quickly
Melvin Fleur DLC
Sergio Rebordao DCDMC
Miha Golob DRMR - all 3 are experienced, solid, determined and cheap for their ability
Arton Ademi MC - played well for me in League 2, determined
Rocky Lekaj MRL - good player, not especially fast but great technical stats for lower league player
Pape Gueye ST - he’s young with ok potential and although his stats don’t look great he consistently scored for me in league 2

all players of nationality from UK & Ireland, Central Europe, South Europe, Scandanavia and all the EU nations in easrten europe (lituania, romania etc)

This loaded 193,000 players total and there is an impact on game speed but not too much

Season 2 - Pre-season - 06/07/11

The new season approaches and changes in preparation for it are underway.

Unfortunately he won't be playing as regularly this season as I give younger players more chances.

Expectations
The board at least expects us to fight bravely against relegation, I personally expect to finish top half and possible challenge for play-offs. I chose mid-table finish as safe but also ambitious option for a wage budget of 39.5k pw.

Were predicted to finish 22nd this season, ticket prices have increased by £3 and Will Haining remaining as Captain and Sergio Rebordao becomes Vice.

There have been some big changes in the squad so far and more to come. Theres been a complete change to the front line as well as some other first teamers leaving. Some very exciting players signed already including Oliver Norwood and Davide Petrucci (both formally of Man Utd) and Vincent Le Goff (FC Nantes).

Season 2 - Start of Season - 02/08/11

Pre-season is over and my summer transfers are complete. Friendly’s went reasonably well considering there was a few difficult games.

The squad looks very strong now and I’m sure we’ll have no problem surviving our first season in League 1. Most of the summer changes have been in attack with a whole new front line. Half of midfield has been replaced and I have a new set of keepers for the new season. Most of defence has remained the same.

Again a very busy transfer period for Morecambe and the free transfer market turned up some excellent bargains! Only 4 of my many signings are over the age of 21 and this shows the clubs aim to succeed by bringing youngsters through to their full potential. The now large amount of young players who all show promise will ensure the team continues to grow stronger over the coming seasons and I think great success is in our future.

My aim of selling current players and replacing with free transfers has been a success, not only did we make £1 million in transfer fees but we replaced outgoing players with better ones for free! Finances now look much healthier. Looking forward to our first game against Charlton and hope we hit the ground running.

I've spotted an old favorite of mine, Jeremy Helan. He's not that great this year, but he's still decent.

Yeah, signing a lot of good potential youngsters is a great way of making money long-term. Seems to be working well so far in this game without the help of genie scout but lots of scouting is important.

Helan was a favorite of mine in FM10 too, along with Jordan Spence and Vaclav Kadlec

Petrucci showed outstanding vision and technique for the lob, great determination for the tap in and fantastic composure from Baurs beautiful through ball to complete his hat-trick. A perfect start to his Morecambe career and his flair was obvious in this match, I’m thinking I will be seeing a lot more goals from him this season.

Awesome work, you are really a good manager, you get nice player who are a great bargain. If u need an assistant manager if u get a real life work, call me, lol.
