Why should i donate?

Hello,

i just donated and got the key yesterday.
Unfortunatley i had to reinstall my pc a couple of hours later and of course the key got invalid.

Now..every time i reinstall windows, because of serveral reason, i got to ask for a new key like a little kid? Are you kidding me? YOU want us to support you and you DON'T support the supporters?

Ok, this was the first and last time i considered donating for genie scout. I have got better things to do and to kindly ask for the key i PAID for. I am really upset about the way you treat your supporters, i have never seen anything like this before.

Hopefully paypal will handle the money back request asap.

Every time you change computer or reinstall Windows, the unique ID of your GS also changes. You need to ask Eugene for a new key file because the key is specific to the unique ID.

There is no need to donate again. He normally responds within a day.

No, thanks. Im not supporitng being treated worse than a free user. No support for it from me.

Why no online registering? Let me choose when and how i want to use my key. Or keep it and dont get my money.

The other famous scout tool works this way and its much more user friendly.

This is how Eugene has chosen for his GS keys to work, but it's nothing new really. The process has been the same for a number of years and I can't recall receiving any such complaints before. And to be honest, I don't see how you were treated worse than a free user.

maybe others didnt complain, but by donating you simply ADD a restriction.

You do get 7 benefits, nice. But you can use it only on 2 computers and you have to ask for the key each time. Eugene wants it that way.

Now...where is the point in donating 50 € instead of 5 €, when you still only get 2 keys?

A free user can use a pretty good working version on 234652346346 computers at the same time. Without asking for permission. You restrict those guys, who do support you and not those, who dont spend a single cent.

To me, this is weird and actually pretty unfair to those, who keep this project running.
They do pay for the free version as well..and get additional LIMITATIONS.

He may have choosen it to be this way, i simply wont support it. Even though i am the first one complaining.
