Who else is looking forward to FM21??

I have been away from FM for a while and to be honest, I have missed it. I am looking forward to install FM 2021 as soon as it is available and have spent the past few weeks, with time afforded to me thanks to being indoors so long, thinking and laying out some plans for a new save.

I am a long save fan, and I like the idea of developing the manager's career, over a long period of time. And I now want to catalogue what happens on the game in a blog, which is what is what I'll be bringing to you here.

I have also thought a little bit about what this football manager's background is. I have mapped out quite a few details about his background as a footballer. So, before reeling all that out now, I wanted to know if there is actually an interest here in a story that goes beyond what happens on the game and include more detail, such as playing history, etc.

So, Here goes.

Thank you everyone for visiting the link above. I can't wait to share more with you as a prologue to a career on FM 21!

Next up will be a little bit more detail from Jack Naysmith's colourful career!!
Hello everyone!

So we are days away from the Beta version being released (at least hopefully) and I have been busy with lots of things at the moment, not least getting my story prepared.

I have decided to start a story soon after FM21 is out and I have spent some considerable time, as you know, looking at what kind of story I will be writing.

The story about Jack Naysmith, written by fictional sports writer Andy Taylor, has now officially begun and below are the latest updates to the story.

Let me take a moment to set the scene. My FM stories will be "written" by Andy Taylor. This will be a way of keeping things consistent after the Jack Naysmith story is over and we go into new football adventures with other Football Managers.

Below are 2 brand new installments as it develops before the release of FM21. E N J O Y ...

Hello Everyone!

Thank you all for the interest you have been showing in this prologue to a save I am planning for FM21.

The latest installment is out now!

In the chapter "Early Life and an Encounter with Fate" we delve deeper into who Jack is and how he got into football.

On a different note, I have done some research as part of planning this save around who exactly is eligible to play for Athletic Bilbao. Many of you will know that you cannot play for Athletic unless you are from the Basque region. This is partly true. First off, this is of course a self-imposed rule aimed to promote the development of local boys and to become professional footballers. In addition, one can also play for the Basque club if they are of "Basque Heritage". Therefore, if you have a Basque parent, or grand parent, you can also play for Athletic. In addition, if your parents are not from the Basque Country but you were born in this region, which is spread across Spain and France, then you can still play for the club. For instance, Inaki Williams, the talented Athletic forward has Ghanaian parents, bus as he was born in this part of the world, he is eligible to play.

Others who were not born in the Basque Country can play for the club if they were educated by a basque club.

In this chapter, we delve in to this subject.
