Hi there and welcome to my first post here.
I always wanted to start a series here but never had the time to do so. But now, with FM21 around the corner and looking for one last, special save I thought, let's give this a go.
This is a custom database created by Chilled Moose, all credits to her!!

CHOOSING THE TEAM:
Choosing a team in a fictional country can be really tough… So I decided to read the whole file from above. And after the good, long read and looking through all the teams in the game I went with Marrador FC. The reason for that is because they are seen as the ‘best of the rest’ after the 2 big clubs from the capital Aswijan City. And when going into a new adventure I’d like to be a bit secure in the team I pick.
They play in a 75.000 capacity stadium and they have a good chunk of derby’s and rivals.
They are qualified for the group stage of the Champions league and by the looks of their trophy cabinet they are yet to win the league for the first time!
And that will be our main goal of this save, going to compete and win the league title on a regular basis, and maybe even try to be a competitive team in the Champions league, who knows.
THE LEAGUE:
The league has 18 teams. We play every team 2 times.
The Aswijan first division is the 8th best league in Europe just between the first divisions from Portugal and Belgium.
OUR GOAL:
These are the objectives, given by the board at the start of the first season:
After looking at my squad with a quick glimpse this seems like a doable objective. But as said earlier, we want more.. We want that first title!
But how that is going I can only tell you in a few days.
This was it for my first post and introduction to this series.
I will be back as soon as the season has reached it’s halfway point.
In the next update we will take a more in-depth look at our squad (who are the leaders and prospects of this team), who we faced in the Champions league and most important, how are we doing in the title race?
Thanks for reading! Keep safe and I will see you next time in post number 2!
