As soon as my FM 2011 arrives from Amazon, should be here by now...stupid Amazon (Got an email saying it will be here next friday :( ) ANYWAY I thought I would set myself a challenge for this year and do something I have never done on FM, which is the full 30 seasons. I've always got to around 2015/2016 and just let the save go and start a new one. I'm going to do a similiar thing to my Zaragoza Story, so if you enjoyed that (thats if you've given it a read...) this one will be even better.

Countries Loaded will be England (EPL), Spain (Liga BBVA), Italy (Serie A), France (Ligue 1) and Germany (Bundesliga 1) I don't know how I'm going to complete the 30 seasons (as in with one club or several) but I'll let FM decide it. Edit: May add further leagues, depending on suggestions!

Just to start with I am going to pick a club where the circumstances are against them and it looks like certain relegation.

Candidates:
Blackpool (EPL)
Hércules (La Liga)
1. FC Kaiserslautern (German Bundesliga)
Brescia (Serie A)
AC Arles-Avignon (Ligue 1)

I'd appreciate it if anyone would vote on your club your opinion on whether I should do it as a blog or as a thread or even both!
I would recommend AC Aries-Avignon. I never played it but I really like French league.

First time in Ligue 1 as well, they are tempting me...
I know what you mean. Thats why I started with Nieciecza. Its there first time above Polish league third tier.
what about the austrian league?
personally i'd recommend wacker innsbruck.

I would also recommend it. I played Salzburg back in FM2008 and I really enjoyed it.
I suppose there is always room for another league if I can squeeze it in, ultimately depends on the game speed, I'll add it to the list.
Edit:
Also any opinion on writing it in a blog or thread?
You can do the same as me which is every month I am writing in thread and than at the end of the season write a blog.
Nice idea actually, looks like I'll do that :)
I probably will enjoy that.
by the time you reach 30 seasons, fm 12 will be launched...you little alex ferguson.
I think playing 30 season would be very good but I think I give up easly so I dont think I will ever made 30 seasons in 1 manager

That's the plan!

I've pumped myself up for this one, I was working it out actually:
30 seasons = 360 months
360 months divided by 350 days (I'm getting FM 6 days late) = 1.03 months per day

On average if I do a month a day, or there about, I'll make it!
if you load Turkish Super League there are entertaining teams with interesting players.
Manisaspor, Karabük my advices..
I'm considering to try my hands on a French team this year, as I haven't tried that before. I'm doing it on PES11 for a master league save, and it's quite interesting.

Besides, French players are a bit overrated on FM this year once again so it shouldn't be very hard to shape a good team of Frenchmen... that would be a new challenge for me, because in previous years my domestic bias sucked big time ;)
