July 6th, 2020. Dailan, China
You could never really tour the glorious city of Dailan, you had to be there for it. That’s what I’ve been doing for the last few years of my life. Enjoying the lavish monuments and the businessmen not even taking a glance at them. There’s the old neighbors and the new neighbors, the Ighalo family’s apartment, and even the constant bickering of Ms. Ping. I’ve been here since I was born, and since I was 35 I never left the beautiful city of Dailan. Being the assistant for managers who have come and gone from the city of Dailan though is no easy task. I make sure everything is nice and tidy for my boss Rafael Benítez, give an overview of the tactics according to what would be best for the next game, argue that parking the bus is a horrible idea, and go home. I sometimes wish what my life would be like being Mr. Benitez himself. Though I was accounted for as the next manager multiple times, I always failed in winning that glorious manager role. And I could accept that, I didn’t have enough head managing expertise for the job. They most likely wouldn’t even want me to go on a rise or sign a loyalty bonus. Though I wonder, what would it be like as a professional manager for a football club. But dreams are always dreams, and that’s how it’s been for the last 10 years in the city of Dailan.

Besides the city, I spend my life with my beautiful wife Lang Jinxao. Every waking morning and every restful night, Lang is always there for me. I make sure I'm there for her as well, as she is the only one who gives me confidence. So that’s my life now. It’s great in all honesty, and I’m raring to go for what opportunity would come next, even if I'd have to wait a million years.

It turns out, that chance would come to Chao sooner then he thought....
A great start. Looking forward to following this story!
get in there, Chao, I love to see a different challenge being brought
I agree with Tango exciting to see a different challenge here! Best of luck
July 6th, 2020. Barcelona, Spain
For the first time in years, RCD Espanyol have been relegated from La Liga. As well, the team was relegated by rivals from the same area, FC Barcelona. Two red cards were shown in this game, one to Barca youngster Ansu Fati in the 49th minute and one to Espanyol youngster Pol Lozano in the 52nd. Just 3 minutes after Lozano’s red card though, Luis Suarez would score in what sealed Espanyol’s relegation fate to the 2nd Tier of Spanish Football. Fans of both Barcelona and Espanyol flocked to twitter in order to argue about the match, arguing either that the results was deserved and that Barcelona should of won by a bigger margin or that it was total BS and Espanyol’s rivals played the club dirty. It wasn’t just the match that the fans of RCD Espanyol were mad at though, as owner Chen Yansheng had promised about two years before that Champions League football would be in play from Espanyol within 3 years. Of course now though the absolute best place in European Football that Espanyol could be is in the Europa League and that can only happen on the unlikely chance that they bring home the cup next season. Yansheng was nowhere to be seen though, as he flocked out of Spain months ago. Though, interesting enough, a new manager has already been hired as the new Espanyol manager after the sacking of Abelardo. Vincente Moreno has been hired to take care of the Catalan club in the hopes of bringing them back to La Liga yet again.

July 16th, 2020. Mallorca Balearic Islands, Spain
With no manager or morale in tow, RCD Mallorca have suffered a 2-1 loss to Europa League chasing Grenada CF as the Nazaries send Mallorca right back to 2nd Division football in Spain. Two red cards were given as well, not unlike the game that got Espanyol relegated, one from Aleksander Sedlar from a horrid slide tackle as well as one to already substituted Cucho Hernandez. Mallorca fans seemed more understanding but you could see the soul that was sucked out of them from tweets and overall nature around the city of Mallorca. Still without a manager, the hunt is on from RCD Mallorca as they look for a manager with enough experience to bring the club comfortably surviving in the top tier. Though, as the owner is mostly known for American sport and more specifically Basketball, it’ll be interesting to see if a new American manager is brung into the club.

July 16th, 2020. A hotel in Beijing, China
Casino Man 1: 你看到今天发生了什么吗? (Did you see what happened today?)
Casino Man 2: 什么,和西班牙队在一起?(What, with the Spanish team?)
Casino Man 1:是的,那些西班牙裔男孩在Espanyol比赛10天后就降级了!(Yes, those Mallorca boys got relegated 10 Days after Espanyol!)
Casino Man 2: 您是否要提出建议 (Are you trying to suggest something)
Casino Man 1:的确是。我打赌您将赌附近的赌场中的所有现金,让马洛卡在西班牙人之前升值 (Indeed I am. I’ll make you a bet for all the cash in the nearby Casino that Mallorca go up before Espanyol)
Casino Man 2: 如果你赢了,你希望我给你什么 (And what do you want me to give you if you win)
Casino Man 1: 简单,我要你儿子 (Simple, I want your son. He'll be the one I can raise to be just like me)
Casino Man 2: 好吧,然后陈,这是一笔交易 (Alright then Chen, it’s a deal. I know my odds though, and you know them too. My son is staying put with me unless you have a miracle.)

And with a shake of a hand Chen made a deal with the other Casino Man. Little did the other man know Chen was already pulling the strings at Mallorca, as he was about to bribe a new manager who was skilled and Chinese. His longtime friend Chao. Currently the assistant at Dalian Pro, it would be easy to get the board to accept him as the new manager. He even hired a wealthy translator and a luxurious first class plane ticket to go all the way to the United States, which held the owner of RCD Mallorca.

July 21st, 2020. Scottsdale, Arizona, USA
A lavishly dressed Chinese man set next to RCD Mallorca owner Robert Sarver, who was just finished in a meeting with investors about the future of Southwest Airlines. The conversation with Chen and Robert about Mallorca and about the money that the little club could bring. One of the most propelling points though was the influence of TV Money, as Chen showed multiple statistics featuring Espanyol’s Wu Lie signing for the spanish side, bringing in 25 Million people from China watching the game against Valladolid and how much shirts from Espanyol were sold. Robert also saw an opportunity, looking at Chao Jinxao as the first Chinese manager to manage at a non-chinese league. They would make millions! And the manager had experience! And thus, it was sold.

Soon after Chao was notified of him suddenly getting a job offer without an interview or an Application! He was awed a team would give him a chance without even an interview or another Look. Pay was going to be even more then he had at Dailan and he and Lang would be relaxing on a Vacation Island. Most of all though, he was going to be a football manager.
Hmm! Well, I didn't quite expect that. I wonder what the supporters will think...
