Is FM21 too easy?

Once the beta game was released, I toyed with many clubs from different regions: Brazil, Romania, Ukraine, Belgium, Portugal .Won everything with Porto - good squad and the 4-2-3-1 Bad Company tactic was insanely good. Same thing with a Brazilian team prectided to finish bottom of the league. But as the season progressed, I found it pretty easy to win matches. A team like Porto shouldn't win 6-2 on aggregate to Liverpool. On FM20, it would take ages to have the same sucess I had in the beta.

Now with the editor, I made the Nottm Forest squad all world-class players, with 170 ability and 15 in all the stats. First game in the FA Cup against Man City: 13 - 0 to Nottm. On FM20 I did the same, but all players rated 180 ability, but it wasn't nowhere as easy. In fact, huge scorelines was hard to get, and I used to lose to Liverpool and Man City most of the time.

What do you reckon?

I'm not sure what to make of your test with Nottm Forest. I find that very interesting, and don't have any answers to that. But regarding your testing with Porto and Brazil, the Beta version can't be used for such comparison. It's known that the Beta is much easier, and you often get mad results like 6-3 in an ordinary league match. I don't know why that is, but it's a fact. So I would like to see a similar test with the full game before I make any conclusions.
